How to Connect LoopCV to ChatGPT via MCP

Once you connect your LoopCV account to ChatGPT through MCP, you can manage, analyze, and optimize your job search using natural conversation.

Follow the steps below to complete the setup:

Step 1: Enable MCP on your LoopCV account

Before connecting to ChatGPT, please contact our support team at support@loopcv.com so we can enable MCP access for your account.

Step 2: Open ChatGPT Settings

In ChatGPT:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the bottom-left corner.
  2. Select Settings.
  1. Navigate to Apps.
  2. Open Advanced Settings.

5. Enable Developer Mode.

Step 3: Create the LoopCV App

Once Developer Mode is enabled:

  1. Click Create App.


2.   Enter the following details:

App Name:
LoopCV

MCP Server URL:
https://api.loopcv.com/mcp

Step 4: Configure OAuth Settings

Click Advanced OAuth Settings and enter the following:

Client Registration

Select:
User-Defined OAuth Client

OAuth Client ID

Step 5: Sign in with your LoopCV account

After creating the app, you will be asked to authorize the connection.

Simply enter your LoopCV login credentials (email and password).

Step 6: Start using LoopCV inside ChatGPT

You are now ready to use LoopCV inside ChatGPT:

  1. Open a new chat.
  2. Click the + button.
  3. Click More (...).
  4. Select LoopCV.

Your LoopCV account is now connected and ready to use.
